Crime Information Management Unit The Colorado Bureau of Investigation’s Crime Information Management Unit is responsible for the management and oversight of law enforcement information. The CBI Identification Unit assists with all of these functions in addition to storing fingerprints in the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) that is accessed by law enforcement throughout Colorado.
